Jacksons Road, Lyttelton

A personal project: this character cottage on the hillside in Lyttelton was originally built in 1915, and damaged in the Christchurch earthquake.

The renovations began with stripping all claddings and linings, followed by a structural foundation re-level. It was then re-clad with custom weatherboards in keeping with the traditional period aesthetic, and the interior relined. From there I installed a custom kitchen by Master Design, featuring birch ply with solid brass hardware. The project was completed with bathroom and laundry cabinetry to match.
